Oblix at The Shard partners with Fable Whisky for World Whisky Day and Father’s Day

Oblix at The Shard has announced an exclusive partnership with the Fable Whisky to commemorate World Whisky Day and Father’s Day with two specially curated events. The collaboration will see the launch of experiences featuring bespoke whisky-based cocktails and a menu that perfectly pairs with Fable Whisky’s selections. Set against panoramic views of London’s skyline, the events will make an ideal gift for Father’s Day or an extraordinary outing for whisky enthusiasts.

The first of these appointments, Dinner with a View, is scheduled for Thursday, 16th May at Oblix East, renowned for its stylish atmosphere and captivating views. Guests will be treated to an array of canapés, including tuna tartare tartlets and truffle and ricotta flatbread, followed by a three-course meal. Each dish, from the Beef Tartare with Bone Marrow to the Cedar Smoked Black Cod, will be complemented by a Fable Whisky pairing, such as Chapter Eleven: Ghost and Chapter Two: Folk, among others. The evening will be brought to a delightful close with a Pecan Chocolate Bar served with whisky ice-cream.

Following in June, Oblix West will host the Father’s Day Whisky Set Menu on Sunday, 16th June. This occasion will mirror the exquisite menu offered at the World Whisky Day celebration, providing attendees with a dining experience that including selected whisky blends from Fable. These include the distillery’s Chapter Eleven: Ghost, Chapter Two: Folk, and Chapter Five: Hound, providing a comprehensive tasting journey through Scotland’s whisky regions.

Tickets for both events are limited and demand is expected to be high given the unique combination of Oblix’s tasty offering and Fable Whisky’s distinctive blends. Prices are set at £108 per person, including service.

Located on the 32nd floor of The Shard, Oblix offers not just a meal, but an experience, with its breathtaking views and impeccably designed spaces. Whether it’s the vibrant atmosphere of Oblix East or the refined elegance of Oblix West, guests are in for a memorable evening.
