Oblix at The Shard to celebrate American Independence Day with two dining events

Oblix at The Shard proposes American Independence Day celebrations with a unique flair, wit a taste of the US in the form of two special events. The stylish, contemporary bar and restaurant located on the 32nd floor of The Shard, Oblix is introducing a Night Brunch on the 4th of July and an American-inspired afternoon tea available from the 1st to the 7th of July.

The Night Brunch, a first of its kind for Oblix, promises an evening filled with entertainment, a three-course tasting dinner, and panoramic views of London’s skyline. The menu, priced at £62 per person for seated guests, will feature a variety of dishes including Burrata with Olives, Granola and Datterini Tomatoes among the starters, Roasted Spring Chicken with Lemon, Black Barlic and Rosemary for the mains, and a selection of signature desserts to finish the meal on a sweet note. Guests can also opt for an upgrade to enjoy free-flowing cocktails, bubbles, or champagne alongside live music performances from DJ’ Molto Music’ accompanied by a live soul singer and saxophone player. Bar standing only tickets are also available, priced at £20, with the inclusion of a complimentary cocktail.

Additionally, Oblix West is hosting an American-inspired afternoon tea. The menu will include freshly baked cranberry scones, a chocolate and peanut praline rocher, and a selection of pastries inspired by American flavours such as an apple, pecan and maple tart, and red velvet cake with chocolate sauce. The afternoon tea will run daily from 12pm to 4pm and aims to deliver an offering combining traditional British tea culture with American classics.

Oblix, which was the first restaurant to open in The Shard in Spring 2013, continues to be a destination for those seeking sophisticated dining experiences with stunning views across London. The restaurant’s American Independence Day celebrations are an opportunity for guests to enjoy a memorable culinary festivity that bridges the culinary traditions of the UK and the US.
