The Eras Tour: Here’s the least of what Taylor Swift has made this year
The “Eras Tour” made it to the history books as the first tour to clock a billion dollars within a single year in 2023, countering Elton John’s “Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour,” which landed at $939 after 5 years.
The fun part is that the “Eras Tour” is currently on its way to breaking the record set by it in 2023, by clocking $2B in 2024. It only gets interesting when you consider how much Taylor Swift has made this year only, from the few countries she’s visited.
Most of the money that Taylor Swift has raked in from the “Eras Tour” is from ticket sales. While it’s a bit hard to narrow down the number of people buying a specific kind of “Eras Tour” ticket, we got the concert capacity of each venue Taylor Swift has visited and acquired the prices of tickets in that region.
We were able to estimate how much Taylor Swift has made from the 10 countries she visited this year by multiplying the average price of tickets in a region and the venue capacity. The result is amazing, and you’ll see.
Taylor Swift’s London show is also around the corner, and the connection she has with London, plus how much people have anticipated the show, gives us the confirmation that it’s going to be one for the history books.
There’s no doubt that this will be one concert a lot of people will want to be at, and since it’ll be held at Wembley Stadium, there’s a possibility that everyone can, and shall be accommodated. In the meantime, we suggest looking for Taylor Swift London tickets through a ticket marketplace. It makes a more convenient option.

Taylor Swift has visited ten countries this year and we’ll estimate the revenue she incurred in these countries here.
1. Japan
Japan was the first country that Taylor Swift visited when she resumed the “Eras Tour” this year. The concert was held in Japan’s capital, Tokyo, where the Tokyo Dome, with a concert capacity of 55k people, is located.
Our research showed that the “Eras Tour” tickets sold in Japan ranged between $56 to $781, making the average $419. This means that Taylor Swift incurred approximately $23 million in Japan if 55k people each spent $419 on tickets.
2. Australia
In Australia, Taylor’s concert was held in 2 cities, Melbourne and Sydney, where she had a recorded attendance of 96k people and 81k people respectively. We picked off ticket prices from fan accounts and narrowed it down to at least $140 and $1,050 for regular and VIP tickets, giving an average of $595.
Multiplying the average figure by the recorded attendance in both Melbourne and Sydney, Taylor walked off with approximately $57 million in Melbourne and $48 million in Sydney, a total of $105 in Australia only
3. Singapore
Taylor Swift organized 6 concerts in Singapore’s National Stadium where she had a sold-out show, with more than 55k people in attendance.
The “Eras Tour” tickets were sold between $108 and $1,228 for regular and VIP, giving an average of $668. With a sold-out show in a 55k capacity venue, Taylor Swift arguably raked in more than $36 million from Singapore.
4. France
Taylor Swift visited France twice in 2024, and this was the first visit, where her concert was held at Paris La Défense Arena. She had a sold-out show for the first concert, with approximately 45k people.
Tickets for seats close to the stage cost $646 each. Since not everyone will sit close to the stage, we decided to place the average ticket cost in France at $300, and the result, when multiplied by 45k people, is $13 million. Thus her incurred revenue.
5. Sweden
In Sweden, Taylor’s “Eras Tour” concert was held at Friends Arena which has a standard capacity of 65k people. From records pulled through fan accounts, an average ticket costs $513. This means that Taylor incurred a revenue of $33 million from Sweden only, on the first night of her concert.
An interesting discovery about Taylor Swift’s concert in Sweden is that the number of attendees kept increasing each day for the 3 days she held her concert there.
6. Portugal
The “Eras Tour” concert was held at Portugal’s Estádio da Luz which has a concert capacity of 64k people. Taylor Swift reportedly performed to a full house during her concert, indicating that she had a sold-out show.
Tickets in Portugal were sold for less than $250 on some sites, with some selling as high as $300 for regular. Using $250 as the average price for regular tickets, 64k people spent approximately $16 million on the “Eras Tour” tickets in Portugal.
7. Spain
In Spain, the “Eras Tour” concert was held at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu which has a concert capacity of 80k people. Taylor Swift tickets were sold at a relatively low price in Spain when compared to other countries.
Based on what we pulled from fan accounts; an average ticket cost around $212. This means that Taylor Swift incurred approximately $17 million from Spain on the first night of her concert.
8. France
Taylor Swift returned to France and had her concert at Groupama Stadium, which has a concert capacity of 60k people. She recorded an attendance of 61k people, and the number increased the next night making her the first female artist to be recognised with such a record.

9. Scotland
In Scotland, the “Eras Tour concert was held at Murrayfield Stadium where more than 73k people attended the first night. The number reportedly increased the following nights allowing Taylor Swift to break another record set by herself.
Tickets in Scotland went for around $72 and $217 for regular depending on sites. The average price being $144 indicates that Taylor Swift incurred $10 million from Scotland only, but that is if everyone in the concert spent $144 for a ticket, which we all know is impossible.
10. England
Taylor Swift broke a record attendance in Anfield after approximately 62k people made it to her concert in Liverpool, the first night. Tickets were sold between $180 and $244, giving an average of $212. This means that Taylor Swift incurred roughly $13 million from Liverpool if, by chance, everyone bought a ticket worth $212.
Conclusion: The least of what Taylor Swift has made this year
Based on our estimates, Taylor Swift has made approximately $305 million from the 10 countries that she has visited already in 2024. you’ll be intrigued to learn that the final estimates we have up there are just for single concerts and Taylor Swift organized more than 4 concerts in some countries.
