Oasis announces UK and Ireland tour for 2025, their first in 16 years
Oasis, the iconic British rock band, has announced their return to the stage with a series of concerts across the UK and Ireland in the summer of 2025, marking their first shows in these countries in 16 years. The tour, part of the OASIS LIVE 25 world tour, will include performances in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin. These concerts will be the band’s only European dates next year.
The announcement ends years of speculation about a possible reunion. The Gallagher brothers, Liam and Noel, have pursued successful solo careers since the band’s split in 2009, but the upcoming tour represents a significant homecoming for the group. The timing coincides with key anniversaries of their first two albums, with Definitely Maybe reaching its 30th anniversary and (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? approaching its 30th in 2025.
Oasis released a statement saying, “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”
Tickets for the UK dates will be available from 9am on Saturday 31st August through major ticketing platforms, including Ticketmaster and See Tickets. The Dublin tickets will go on sale at 8am on the same day through Ticketmaster Ireland.
The tour schedule includes multiple dates in major cities, reflecting the band’s enduring popularity and the high demand expected for these performances. Notably, the band will play multiple nights in iconic venues such as Manchester’s Heaton Park, London’s Wembley Stadium and Dublin’s Croke Park.
Oasis has maintained a significant presence in the music scene even in their absence, with a strong following on streaming platforms and continued interest in their live performances, highlighted by the recent Knebworth 1996 film. The band’s return to the live stage is anticipated to be one of the most notable musical events of the decade.
