London’s best chefs unite for Valencia Flood Relief with charity dinner at Arros QD on 13 December
A special charity dinner in support of flood relief efforts in the Valencia region of Spain will take place on Friday 13th December at 7pm at London’s Arros QD, the restaurant of Spanish chef Quique Dacosta. The event aims to raise essential funds for Desde Valencia Para Valencia, a non-profit organisation dedicated to assisting communities affected by recent flooding.
Curated chefs Nieves Barragán Mohacho (Sabor, 1 Michelin star) and Dacosta (3 Michelin stars), the dinner brings together a line-up of absolute culinary talent. Participating chefs include Robin Gill (Darby’s), Angela Hartnett (Murano, 1 Michelin star), Hélène Darroze (Hélène Darroze at The Connaught, 3 Michelin stars), Ashley Palmer-Watts (The Devonshire), Aleixandre Sarrion (Private Chef) and Eduardo Idrobo (Arros QD). Each cook will prepare a signature dish, offering guests a unique opportunity to experience a range of expert techniques and regional influences.
The evening will also include a live auction, featuring prizes generously donated by renowned names such as Claude Bosi, Tom Kerridge and Michel Roux Jr. All proceeds will support ongoing recovery initiatives in Valencia, providing resources to rebuild homes, restore infrastructure and assist families directly affected by the flooding.
Actor and food enthusiast Stanley Tucci will introduce the event, setting the stage for an evening focused on gastronomy and giving. Tickets are priced at £350 per person for the Main Dining Room and £500 per person for the VIP Front Row Counter Top experience, which offers an intimate view of the chefs at work.
