THC-infused seltzers: The rising trend in refreshing beverages

Floral Beverages is challenging people to “Drink Objectively,” it challenges customers to check their biases at the door and realise Floral’s game-changing THC infused seltzers and  THC cocktails taste better, have better ingredients, and are more meticulously crafted than alcohol.

Floral Beverages has extensive experience in the beverage industry, focusing on developing alcohol alternatives and hemp-derived THC products (learn more, here). Its work involves creating innovative, health-conscious drink options catering to consumers seeking mindful drinking.

With expertise in product formulation and industry trends, Floral Beverages aims to provide safe and enjoyable alternatives to traditional alcoholic beverages, helping consumers make informed decisions aligned with their wellness goals.

Seltzer drinks: The 11-step cultivation process

Floral Beverages uses a trademarked 11-step process to craft its unique beverages.

Soil

The soils are tested before planting the first seedling to ensure no harmful chemicals can enter the plant.

Plant

The plants begin life in a greenhouse, receiving plentiful water, nutrients, and sunlight before moving outside.

Grow

The female hemp plant’s energy is allowed to focus on reproduction. The oil from the female hemp flowers goes into each Floral beverage.

Harvest

Before harvest, state inspectors visit the farm and take samples to ensure that the hemp contains compliant amounts of Delta-9 THC.

Dry

Similar to hops, hemp flowers are difficult to remove until dried. To this end, a natural breeze is introduced via open-air doors and an air handling system to dry the plants gently to the desired moisture level.

Extract

The hemp flowers are placed in our extraction suites to separate the CBD and THC from the hemp fibre.

Purify

The crude hemp oil is then purified through a distillation process. The hemp distillate then goes through a centrifugal partition process that separates the various cannabinoids (CBD, THC, and others).

Solubilise

This process allows the products to mimic the onset of an alcoholic beverage sans the alcohol.

Formulate

The team at Floral works hard to handcraft hemp-imbued recipes for consumers to enjoy. As representatives from Floral Beverages say, “When we look at the unavoidable nutritional downsides in alcohol, it is calories and dehydration (from ethanol). Our product gives a responsibly-portioned social buzz without the calories or hangover.”

Package

Unlike the brewery, there is no fermentation. Once the recipes are carbonated and chilled, the drinks are immediately put in cans and prepared for delivery.

QA/QC

The products are tested internally and validated by third-party, accredited laboratories. “We test our products for all recreational panels in their most concentrated state.”

The growing success of Delta 9 seltzer and more

The results of this approach speak for themselves, with Floral Beverages having won numerous awards and received great acclaim. Floral had the first-ever non-alcoholic THC beverage to compete in a national alcohol competition and medal. Their drink, Modern Mule, won a Silver in the Overall Mixed Drink category, and their Margarita Floral THC cocktail won a bronze in the Margarita category of the US Hard Seltzer Championship (learn more, here).

Floral Beverages provides unparalleled flavour and health benefits through its drinks and dedicated process. Rather than alcohol-fuelled beverage options like beer, Floral Beverages uses hemp to create delicious beverages infused with THC, CBD, and more. The result is a superior beverage – subjectively and objectively.
