Charli XCX and Troye Sivan to reunite for exclusive European performance at Primavera Sound Barcelona 2025

Charli XCX and Troye Sivan to reunite for exclusive European performance at Primavera Sound Barcelona 2025

In a notable musical collaboration, Charli XCX will be joined by Troye Sivan for a special performance at Primavera Sound Barcelona on 5th June 2025. This event marks the only European date for their joint venture, Charli XCX and Troye Sivan Present: SWEAT, following a highly successful 22-date tour across North America last autumn.

The concert is scheduled to take place at Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona, a venue known for hosting large-scale music events. The inclusion of Sivan, a prominent Australian artist, adds significant appeal to the festival lineup, which already features major acts including Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan.

The SWEAT tour has garnered attention for its dynamic and innovative performances, featuring advanced lighting techniques and a set design that emulates the ambience of an underground nightclub. Critics have praised the tour for its energetic execution and immersive experience, highlighting the chemistry between Charli XCX, a British singer-songwriter, and Sivan.

The upcoming performance in Barcelona is particularly significant as it represents a reunion at the festival where both artists had previously performed separately in 2024. Charli XCX expressed her enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “On the hottest tour of the year, Charli XCX and Troye Sivan received rave reviews for their innovative performance, incorporating lighting techniques into their high energy setlist that transported fans into an underground nightclub and paired perfectly with the industrial set design.”

Despite the high demand for tickets, full festival passes for Primavera Sound Barcelona 2025 are already sold out. However, a limited number of day tickets for the event remain available for purchase through the Fever platform. These day tickets are priced at €135, plus a booking fee, covering performances on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Additionally, tickets for the Primavera Bits x Nitsa closing party on Sunday are on sale for €35, also subject to a booking fee.

This unique performance opportunity is expected to draw significant attention from music fans across Europe and beyond, as it offers a rare chance to experience the collaborative magic of Charli XCX and Troye Sivan live on stage. As the festival approaches, anticipation continues to build for what is to be a highlight of the 2025 musical calendar.
