A Night Like This reminds us of Richard Linklater’s Before Trilogy, but it’s different, as it tells a story of two young, contrasting men, finding themselves strolling together through the city of London. Here, the UK’s capital becomes a background hero in the entire drama. The film follows the journey of two broken souls seeking solace and connection. It captures the essence of human relationships, from men’s friendship to the idea of what love is and what it can become.
A part of this charming film duo, Alexander Lincoln, spoke to us about his character, on-screen chemistry, London and if he has ever experienced “a night like this”.
Another 50% of this on-screen romantic couple, Jack Brett Anderson, told us about casting, the film’s narrative and if his character mirrors himself and if he believes in chemistry.
The director, Liam Calvert, and the screenwriter, Diego Sceratti, explained what the plot of this film means to them, what it is about, and how they went with the creative process.
The actor, Jimmy Ericson, spoke to us about his character, Diego, while also reflecting on his personal growth as an actor.
