Established in Milan, Italy, and ran by 52-year-old Lucia, Call Me Mimi possibly sells the cutest collars we have ever seen. Being a wife and a mother, you’d think the creator of Call Me Mimi would have enough on her hands, but somehow, she manages to create adorable pieces to complete and treat your outfits.

Learning how to handle yarns from the age of five allowed Lucia to begin making handmade presents for friends and family. Since then, Lucia has started working with clothing and accessories manufacturers, and this turned to her own personal business after discovering Etsy. Call Me Mimi is made with love and manages to give you that little tingle of excitement when you receive something crafted by hand.

The inspiration for her work comes from Lucia’s interests. A love for art, opera, old movies and fashion all stem through each individual collar. But Call Me Mimi doesn’t stop there. A whole range of cowls, shawls and scarves are also available to buy from the website. From crocheted cuffs and bow brooches, every item is unique, beautiful and somehow perfect to compliment your spring 2012 wardrobe.
