Quentin Jones and Intropia fashionable bag for charity
The rumours are true! Quentin Jones, the beautifully talented illustrator and audiovisual creator, is the new Intropia woman for the spring/summer 2013 collection. However, it isn’t all beauty being the face of this chic, quirky brand. Jones has created a special limited edition bag for the brand, another admirable example of giving to charity in a super stylish way!
Quentin has decided to design a leather tote and a canvas tote in neon hues. Yet, these bags will not go without a sprinkle of personalisation from the face herself. On each bag, there is a Quentin Jones for Hoss Intropia logo, which will no doubt fail to remind people of the purpose of these bags. All the proceeds from this bag, which costs a fabulous £60, will go straight to the women’s charity Creative Handicrafts.
The designer, and face of the brand, explained that she “wanted to create a pop print that complemented the vibrant colours of the collection. I love scribbling cartoon faces, so I decided to make it huge and hand-write into the pattern”.
And she undoubtedly turns her love of scribbling into an upcoming fashion statement.
This is not the end of the “Intropia Woman” initiative. Each season, the company will celebrate and embrace the talent of smart and creative women. Past women who participated in this campaign included that of Tamara Rojo, Naomie Harris and Helena Christensen.
