Enjoy feathers, freak shows and fetish at The Dark Circus Party

Roll up, roll up for an evening of provocative disguise and thrills in the shadows at The Dark Circus Party. Spend the night surrounded by sequins and feathers in a world of cabaret and burlesque, and indulge in all things glamorous if not a little risqué.

The cheeky Belle Époque has teamed up with the creators of Torture Garden, the world’s largest fetish and body art club, for The Dark Circus Party, where guests are invited to step over to the dark side and be transported to a dreamy world of intoxicating illusions and uninhibited spectacle. Combining art, fashion, fetish and performance, the event bridges the gap between mainstream and niche, offering revelers a unique experience that is surreal and subversive without being scary and strange. Rubber, latex and chains are replaced with sequins, costumes and masks to allow guests to indulge in the thrill of disguise and immerse themselves in the weird and the wonderful of the circus.

Inside the opulent, velvet draped Big Top, Torture Garden’s finest acts bring their very own circus freak to the night with a visual and sensory extravaganza. Thrill-seekers are encouraged to seek out the bizarre and free their inner exhibitionist in the weird and wonderful world of the circus and enjoy the show from intimate curtained areas.

Amazing entertainment will be on offer from Perhaps Contraption, an avant-garde pop marching band, and Beautiful Jewels, who will captivate guests with a stunning performance combining burlesque and the ancient art of sword swallowing. Other acts on the night include Cirque du Soleil member Yusura, and freakshow characters from The Late Night Shop Cabaret who will bewilder with their eclectic experimental performances. Guests are also invited to visit Miss Marguerite’s painted wagon for a lesson in the art of costume make-up, before dancing to a mix of electro swing, circus burlesque and ballroom blitz.
