The J Autumn Fashion Show by Jessica Minh Anh: grand fashion on a grand parade
This November marks a world historical fashion event in the USA. The J Autumn Fashion Show will be staged on the Grand Canyon, organised and led by daring fashion model and fashion show organiser, Jessica Minh Anh.
This daring act of creativity will be staged by a group of models on the Grand Canyon “Skywalk”, a bridge made of glass and will last for a full hour.
This will be yet another feather in Jessica’s cap of making fashion history. Her first successful attempt was in 2011 during a fashion show set on England’s Tower Bridge 44 metres above the river and her second on the Petronas Twin Towers in March 2012. The towers are measured 175 metres above street level.
Haute couture and high-end ready-to-wear collections from over 20 countries and five continents will be showcased at the show. The models will be made to appear as if they’re walking on a cloud, whilst the press and VIPs will be seated on the side of the bridge watching them.
The showcase and the natural beauty of the Grand Canyon and the surrounding Colorado River will be captured by helicopter filming. The show will also be broadcast via live streaming and broadcasting in participating countries.
Consistent with her daring nature and willingness to impart her ambition to the younger generation, Jessica said: “This time, I want to bring fashion to Eagle’s Point. The Grand Canyon is one of America’s most stunning landscapes and so I want to showcase this against cutting edge fashion. I hope that inspires people.”
In her most recent act of creativity in May 2013 she hosted a 90-metre floating catwalk on the Seine River in Paris. Jessica Minh Anh has definitely redefined how we look at fashion, and how seriously the world takes it by integrating fashion creativity with the wonders of the world (one day maybe we’ll see fashion also on websites such as utländskacasino.biz). She leaves behind a footprint never to be imitated and only to be inspired.
