LFW – Marios Schwab S/S 2014 collection

Marios Schwab unveiled his new spring/summer 2014 collection on Monday at the Topshop Showspace during London Fashion Week.

The Greco-Austrian fashion designer celebrates the female body form, with his new collection entitled Contours.

Included in the Contours collection is a selection of black and white slim-line dresses, featuring airbrushing effects, which highlight the key bodylines and natural curvy areas of the female body. 

Contrast is also an apparent ongoing theme in Schwab’s spring/summer collection, with the contrasting use of soft airbrushing on hard solid dresses, to the use of staples and spines on floaty Grecian-inspired evening dresses. 

Schwab’s Contours collection is sure to be a hit, with replica designs expected to soon begin infiltrating onto the high street. Contour clothing is sure to be a key fashion trend across high-street stores next season, as a look which works for real, regular women with curves, as well as those blessed with the body worthy of a top model.
