What to wear this winter
With the winter months just around the corner, we have all been digging out the cosy sweaters, long socks and layering up to keep ourselves warm yet stylish.
A staple piece in any winter wardrobe is the cable knit chunky cardigan, which can be very easily dressed up or down, seen on celebs such as Sarah Jessica Parker who has been defining her waist with a belt for a more chic look. Paired with a pair of knee-high boots will not only flatter most leg shapes, but they also look great tucked into jeans and over leggings, and are a great touch to a winter dress paired with tights.
Layering is a great way to add some style to your winter wardrobe this season. It has been very common to mix prints and patterns lately, which can be easily and tastefully achieved with something as simple as a tweed coat accessorised with a print scarf to give that designer look at high-street prices. Top it off with a large statement bag and you’re set to go!
Adding a pop of colour to our wardrobe during the cold seasons is something a lot of us ladies are afraid of, however, that can be easily achieved by adding one statement piece such a top, jeans or bag to a simple look. This will not only make you look chic but will also brighten up your look. We found that animal prints are always big in the colder season despite not being everyone’s cup of tea, once again added as a statement piece such as with a clutch bag to add some va-va-voom to your little black dress can work a treat.
