London Collections: Men – Christopher Shannon A/W 2014 show

Christopher Shannon presented his latest collection at LC: M last week. The Liverpool-based designer revisited the early years of Thatcherism and the post-punk era for autumn/winter 2014. 

Models walked the runway in sopping wet hair and adidas footwear, depicting the sad cliché of a footballer walking home in the rain. Pop-art cigarette pack knits and 70s tracksuits were featured, while hints of leather and a wallpaper-inspired graphic floral modernised the look. Judy Blame accessorised the collection through chunky chain and pin necklaces.
