The Victoria Beckham fashion story
The 30th January saw a revolutionary moment in fashion history as Victoria Beckham launched The Skype Collaboration Project. Fast becoming one of the most influential icons of the fashion world, the ex-Spice girl-come fashion designer has launched her own virtual retelling of her five-year long story.
The collaboration comes after Victoria spent endless evenings in front of a computer using Skype to speak to her studio in London, as explained on the opening page of the website.
The inspiring nature of the story allows you to learn of the journey that Victoria has gone on. Described by work colleagues as a “perfectionist” and a “hard worker”, the video shows the progressive journey she has made through chapters showing Victoria’s life. Quotes include one from Jess Cartner-Morley, who says “I’d heard rumours she was doing a presentation… I thought really, a Spice Girl?” which portrays the trials and tribulations her fashion career has faced. Now with her own signature shape, a mass of fashion followers and a total media backing, there is undoubtedly no going back for this phenomenal lady.
Each chapter of her story is as inspirational as the next and you can feel yourself growing a real sense of pride for one of the fastest growing woman icons in the world.
