The most exciting show we have seen so far this week, we witnessed a vibrant explosion of colour, that would usually be associated with a spring/ summer collection. However, Gray has pulled this one off in one of the most anticipated catwalk shows of this season. While different colours were hitting the audience like they were going out of fashion, we also saw loud and outlandish dip-dyed mohawks, hands wrapped in bubble wrap and makeup that looked like it had been applied by a retro enthusiast.
Layers were bursting with electric blues, burnt oranges and lurid purples, accompanying accessories were; large, functional bags tucked under the models arms who wore oversized metallic coats.
This show presented signature pieces of boldly textured garments that the label has been slipping into collections for the past five years, the shapes remain simple and yet the collection still makes a bold statement with a firework of colours contrasting yet complimenting one another at the same time. A fun yet mature collection which brightened up a dreary day during London Fashion Week.
