A hidden online gem: Syd + Mallory

A hidden online gem: Syd + Mallory

Exploring the great world of the ASOS marketplace, we stumbled across a delightful Sheffield-based brand, Syd + Mallory. An independent label that quotes itself to not being just a “vintage brand”, Syd + Mallory have developed themselves from the need for originality and independence.642a56a7-c698-4eb7-ae7e-e7017671b944_large

Creating a name for themselves, which represents both grungy and edgy, their boutique is a refreshing change from the norm of the vintage clichés found online.  Items are handmade and hand-printed, making this brand even more likeable, as well as using re-worked and vintage items with modern fabrics to give them their unique feel.da6532d8-5021-480a-9711-94d128937911_large

Designs are fun and simple. Using simple prints of cats, pineapples and love hearts, the pieces are fun and fashionable, and will undoubtedly let you make a statement. Tit tees are a running theme, with daisies and dolphin prints adding a touch of entertainment to basic cropped tees. Pompom t-shirts and raglan dresses, caption tees and bodycon skirts all make this brand absolutely brilliant.syd and mallory heart tee

Some of our favourite picks have to be the You’re All Heart tee (£24), the 90s gold grunge slip (£19) and the black lace collar velvet dress (£48).grung slip

If it’s something different you are looking for, then Syd + Mallory is definitely for you.
