Glory Boon: for those with sensitive skin
If you have sensitive skin you may find it difficult to find products that don’t leave your skin irritated. This is precisely what led to the birth of Glory Boon.
Alexandra, the lady behind Glory Boon, has very sensitive skin and she realised she couldn’t use most of the products that were available at her local drugstore, since they were full of the “icky” stuff. This led her to start creating her own beauty products. She also started the label because she had a desire to create, and she enjoys making her own beauty products. After what started out as making beauty products for herself, Alexandra turned it into a business that other people could benefit from.
Her main focus is making beauty products with healthy skincare benefits and without the icky stuff. They’re all handcrafted with no parabens, no phthalates, no mineral oil and are 100% cruelty free. The skincare and make-up lines are gentle and specially formulated for acne-prone skin and won’t clog your pores. The shampoo and conditioner are made to be gentle on the scalp as well as provide stronger, longer healthier hair. The lip balms are made with natural ingredients, no dyes, no mineral oil, no preservatives, and this applies to the soaps as well!
There are some great products on Glory Boon’s Etsy page, and you will be spoilt with the choice of products she sells. The foundation is refreshing, velvety and natural with a satin finish. It has beautiful mineral pigments, high in antioxidants, with nourishing ingredients such as organic aloe and organic jojoba oil. You can get it in Glow, Fair/light, Luna, Almond, Tan and Bronze.
The popcorn lip scrub is gorgeous. It gently exfoliates lips with sweet sugar, almond oil and organic coconut oil with a hint of flavour and castor oil for shine. If you want a lip balm that is truly natural, try this marshmallow lip balm. The hydrating formula is made with beeswax and nourishes the lips with vitamin and nutrient rich oils while adding a transparent, soft shine to lips. Need something nourishing for your body and hands? Try this sugar plum hand and body cream. The cream has a fresh, sweetened plum scent sprinkled with orange zest, cloudberry, vanilla and sugared musk. It’s a cross between a body butter and body lotion. It hydrates like butter, but finishes like lotion.
As you can see, Alexandra offers you loads of products for your body, hands, lips and face. You’ve just got to decide which products you want – this is an extremely tough choice!
