Tried & Tasted: Zamorana coffee by Pact, part 2
Zamorana coffee by Pact
London-based Pact source single-origin coffee beans directly from small farmers across the world before roasting in small batches in London. Shipping coffee up to seven days after roasting means that Pact coffees stay fresh for maximum flavour.
With warming aromas of cinnamon and nutmeg, Zamorana is an inviting coffee which you’ll want to drink again and again. Zamorana is a much more subtle coffee than most – perhaps owing to the coffee farms at the foothills of the Cordillera Central volcanic range in Costa Rica that the Zamora family call home. The farms here benefit from the fertile soils of the area, which is enriched by volcanic ash and mild climates which leads to an overall well-balanced coffee.
The balance of light citrus tones and delicate base flavours the Zamorana a very easy to drink coffee. Although it produces a fine drink with a Moka cup, a soothing cafetière cup leaves a comforting and familiar taste, making it perfect for a relaxed weekend drink while enjoying the spring weather. A cup of Zamorana is perfect for meditative moments, its mellow spice providing a radiant warmth, while its balanced flavour also makes it great for cooking with.
Ideal for those indulgent weekend and evening moments, a cup of Zamorana is a willing and able partner-in- crime to tackle the Sunday papers or the next chapter of your new favourite novel.
Enjoy with…
Some salted dark chocolate or a slice of zingy lemon torte would bring out the best flavours of the Zamorana.
