Benefit introduces Hervana
The other week saw the long awaited launch of a new blush by top beauty brand Benefit. To celebrate the launch, Benefit and Elle UK teamed up to hold a press launch at the grand Trafalgar Square hotel. The layout of the event was a quirky spa, including a vast swimming pool, lit with subdued pink. If you were feeling indulgent you could even treat yourself to a massage or brow treatment courtesy of Benefit, but if that’s not your cup of tea, there were endless lychee cocktails being passed around by naked waiters – cue stifled giggles from all the girls.
The blush is aptly named Hervana, which comes from a mix of ‘Her’ and ‘Nivana’, the holy state of being free from suffering. This is no normal blush: Benefit have created a product, which tells a story. The blush itself if made up of four different shades, which is a first for Benefit, but works along the same lines as Sugarbomb and 10, and the shades included are Lucky Shell, Divine Peach, Heavenly Rose and Berry Delight, intended to be used all together, all in one swirl. Together they create the most beautiful soft pink hue, providing a natural flush.
Hervana also debuts the new look of Benefits box blush packaging, with a flip lid and contour blush brush now included, and in true Hervana style, even has the words ‘good karma’ emblazoned on the side.
Benefits Hervana costs £23.50 and can be purchased on their website or at all good Benefit stockists including Selfridges, Debenhams and House of Fraser.
