Kim Kardashian covers Paper magazine

Did Kim Kardashian’s bum break your internet? No? Hmm, ours neither. In fact, instead of breaking my internet, Kim made us scowl, scoff and grimace at what society has dribbled down to. Here we have a woman, albeit a beautiful one, who possesses no real talent, no real gift, yet receives millions of dollars for posing naked for a legendary photographer, whilst slathered in baby oil.

Paper magazine kicked off the holiday season with a certain bootylicious goodness tweeting out its 2014 winter covers: one of them featuring a naked Kardashian-West covered in oil as she emerges from an evening gown, whilst another cover sees Kardashian actually wearing the gown, while balancing a glass of champagne on her world-famous behind.

The photos were shot by famed French photographer, Jean-Paul Goude, whose photographs of Grace Jones are pure legends in the fashion world. Goude used Kardashian’s recognisable derriere in homage to recreate his iconic Champagne Incident work.

Kardashian, who in all honesty contributes nothing to society other than omitting vibes of “look at me, look how beautiful I am”, tweeted the images alongside the amusing message, “And they say I didn’t have a talent…try balancing a champagne glass on your ass LOL.” Cringingly, Kim’s hubby Kanye West also posted the cover, with the caption “#ALLDAY”. Aside from comments from Glee’s Naya Rivera, the general consensus of Kim’s covers was one of bemused appreciation. Parodies and memes have appeared left, right and centre ripping it out of Kim and her derrière, much to the amusement of people worldwide. Supposedly, Kim’s covers made such an impact on the world that #BreakTheInternet was tweeted a record number of times in such a short time frame.

Whether Kim K really did #BreakTheInternet is somewhat subject to what you make of the covers and their impact, however it does still generally appear that Kim offers nothing to society other than an amusing story on The Daily Mail’s TV & Showbiz section every now and again. She and her family, unfortunately, represent everything that is wrong with the world today; nothing more to offer than their looks and selling their body for money and fame. Instead of concentrating on “breaking the internet”, perhaps Kim should stick to being the best mother she can be to her daughter, rather than making a baby-oil lathered mockery of herself, yet again.
