Dolce & Gabbana introduce Dolce Floral Drops
March 2015 sees Dolce & Gabbana introducing Dolce Floral Drops, a new, fresh, floral fragrance that will stand alongside the existing Dolce Eau de Parfum.
A light and airy scent, this one is a gentle reminder of a crisp spring morning. A harmonious blend of neroli leaves and papaya flower with heart of white amaryllis, white daffodils and white water-lily defines the freshness of this green juice, whilst the warm base notes of musk, sandalwood and cashmeran balance out the sweet, floral scent. Its thick, frosted glass bottle in a misty green colour, with curved lines and solid bottom accompanied by a delicately shaped white full-bloom cap, also expresses the delicate freshness of the fragrance.
After heading the advertisement campaign for D&G, Canadian model Kate King returns as the face of Floral Drops. The 22-year-old model’s profound eyes and aristocratic features complement the vintage setting of the campaign, which takes the audience on a timeless journey. The masterminds behind this advertisement are none other than the designer duo Domenico Dolce, who shot the campaign, and Stefano Gabbana, who is the creative director.
Indeed, Floral Drops definitely appeals to one’s girly side, reminiscent of fresh flowers on a dewy morning: refreshingly sweet.
