Renowned for their free spirit and innovative approach to fashion, PPQ has long since held the reputation of a leading influence of London street style. For a brand built on an unassailable combination of cutting-edge design and word-of-mouth, it was only fitting that they waited until the last show of the day to showcase their A/W 2015 collection.
The 80s techno soundtrack set the tone for a distinctly New Romantic aesthetic. Ruffled collars adorned structured shirts, whilst models’ hair was teased into a chic, retro bouffant.
But the biggest surprise of the night was the duo’s decision to opt for an exclusively monochrome pallet – a world away from the bright tones of their S/S 2015 collection. Accentuated with just a pop of colour on the lips, the daring move is further proof that this is a brand that isn’t afraid to take a few risks when it comes to style.
