Professional Beauty London 2015: Review
Over 34,000 beauty enthusiasts flocked to London’s ExCel Exhibition and Convention Centre across two days in late February to discover the latest innovations in the beauty industry before they hit the commercial market.
The trade show saw over 800 brands showcasing their revolutionary products and services including Elemis, Decleor, Clarins and Dermalogica to name just a select few. The exhibition allowed business owners, product buyers, students and many more become informed and inspired by the newest, cutting-edge trends as well as networking with industry-leading brands.
Trade stands were divided into many diverse categories from organic and natural beauty to medical aesthetic treatments – the majority of which offered free treatment demonstrations and talks with a team of experts at hand to answer any queries. The Only Way is Essex star and salon owner; Amy Childs had her very own stand, which saw endless queuing to buy her latest salon products.
Other popular stands included products that aiding tanning and fat reducing as well as anti-aging in the form of facials, vitamin-infused lotions and accessible cosmetic procedures. Furthermore, many attendees opted into trialling a teeth-whitening innovation, where participants sat behind a robotic arm that shone UV light for just 15 minutes before revealing a noticeably whiter smile.
Jessica Nails introduced their latest endeavour by combining quality with convenience through their quick-drying yet hard-wearing, gel-like nail polish – ideal for a quick fix between salon visits.
Hair Professional, a trade show in it’s own right, joined the ExCel this year, attracting hair professionals from across the nation. Experts provided colourist and business workshops along with inspiration demonstrations, revealing the latest trends in hair styling.
