Named after the theme park ride of the same name, Disney’s Tomorrowland: A World Beyond is the family-friendly sci-fi blockbuster on everyone’s lips. The line of screaming fans at Sunday’s European premiere was longer than any rollercoaster queue, with movie-goers travelling from as far as Australia and San Diego to catch a glimpse of lead stars George Clooney, 54, and Britt Robertson, 25, outside the Odeon in Leicester Square.
Looking dapper as usual, the silver fox charmed reporters and fans alike, while fresh-faced Robertson dazzled the crowd in a sparkly red dress that wouldn’t look out of place in the 23rd century. Other prominent cast members include home-grown actor Hugh Laurie, 55, who hinted that Tomorrowland: A World Beyond may be his first turn as the bad guy on the big screen, while the adorable Raffey Cassidy, 12, walked the red carpet with the poise and sophistication of someone twice her age. The Upcoming was certainly interested in what the young star had to say about the opportunity of working with three of the biggest names in show business.
