The best off-duty celebrity style
The most stylish of celebrities often walk the red carpet with an army of stylists, make-up artists and hairdressers at their fingertips. But even the most glamorous A-listers are not able to have a stylist on hand 24/7, so we take a look at those with the best off-duty wardrobes.
Miranda Kerr
Former Victoria’s Secret angel, Miranda Kerr has become a style icon to many, working off-duty style to perfection. Year after year, the Aussie beauty nails her casual wardrobe with a mix of laidback spring dresses to structured fall coats, with the signature addition of a pair of oversized sunnies.
Kerr stunned as she walked the streets of New York in a floaty daisy print mini dress from Topshop. She paired the understated cut-out dress with Prada cat-eye sunglasses, a Givenchy handbag and Isabel Marant black studded boots.
In this casual ensemble, Kerr looked effortlessly glam as she gave us a lesson on less is more. She paired a casual grey knit dress with a black structured coat, trademark Givenchy bag and a pair of over-the-knee Hermès boots which gives this off-duty look an added touch of sexiness.
Emma Stone
Hollywood actress, Emma Stone has made a name for herself with a string of blockbuster films, including The Amazing Spider-Man franchise and The Help. She’s also become a firm favourite among the fashion set for her understated but chic style.
Stone looked stylish whilst walking on set of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 with her and boyfriend, Andrew Garfield’s dog, Ren. She paired a cropped blue blazer by Chloe, with skinny jeans, a beanie and nude brogues, making the look preppy and chic.
Stone proved just how stylish low key fashion can be as she worked a simple shirt dress with studded sandals whilst out and about in New York. She accessorised with a brown fedora hat and some oversized shades.
Kendall Jenner
No stranger to the spotlight, Kendall always looks put together even on her days off making us seriously envious of the 19-year-old’s wardrobe. Whether she’s hitting the shops with her famous sisters or strolling through the airport, she always seems to look stylish.
Walking the streets of Los Angeles with a friend, Jenner looked stunning as she rocked a daringly low-cut shirt with distressed capri skinny jeans. She finished the off-duty look with trademark mirrored aviators, a mini Céline bag and a pair of Chanel espadrilles.
After walking the runway for Fendi at Milan Fashion Week, Jenner changed into this edgy look. The star cut a slim figure in black skinny jeans, a slouchy tee and a grey cropped jacket. She finished the look with oversized black shades and a pair of Alexander Wang chelsea boots.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
She’s modelled for some of the biggest names in fashion, including Burberry and Victoria’s Secret but the Devon-born beauty has made a name for herself with her own style too. The model exudes bohemian chic with a touch of 1970s glamour, opting for designers such as Alexander Wang, Chloé and Isabel Marant.
The British model showed how effective simple styling can be in a pair of white distressed denim shorts, a blue camisole and a pair of suede ankle boots. She accessorised with trademark aviator sunnies and a wicker basket bag.
When out and about in London, the blonde beauty stunned in a black Gerard Darel silk jumpsuit. She paired the look with black strappy heels, a light blue handbag and oversized tortoise shell sunglasses, making the look sophisticated and timeless.
