Lucie Ellen jewellery: magnificent and minimalist

Lucie Beeston is the beautiful creator behind the simply adorable jewellery label Lucie Ellen. It all started after Lucie decided to leave her educational path in graphic design as she felt like she needed to take on something with a more hands-on approach.

Relocating to Suffolk allowed Lucie to do this, having spent endless time around markets in London trying to find what it was she wanted to do. Now using her shed as a studio, Lucie makes her own magnificent crafts using recycled materials, creating truly unique and likeable pieces.

The jewellery has a modern yet vintage twist to it that instantly manages to put a smile on your face. Materials varying from wood to vintage china add to the simplicity of the designs but such minimalism makes you feel like you want to buy the whole of her online store. Wood-based colours to pastels and bright shades of red and green colour the jewellery palette and take the basis of shapes such as hot air balloons, bows, anchors and pencils. Inspiration taken from birds, girls, haberdashery and the 1950s are all evident in her work, helping to contribute to that instant ‘aww’ factor when you are browsing through her creations.

Our favourite picks have to be the television necklace (£10), the sewing collection necklace (£14), the book pins (every single one of them for a bargain £6!), the wooden bow pastel earrings (£8) and to be honest, pretty much the rest of her collection.
