Stevie Boi autumn/winter 2016 collection catwalk show for NYFW
Stevie Boi presented his fierce and energetic autumn/winter 2016 collection at Studio 450 for New York Fashion Week. The Collection entitled Cabin is inspired by the designer earlier life experiences as boy scout and cadet. Born American but raised overseas, mostly in Europe with parents in military, Boi definitely brought his memories on the runway.
Soft fabrics and cozy socks combined with sky high heels, textured fabric and fitted coats were creating trendier more sophisticated street style look. Models paired designs with signature glasses, suspenders and bandage tops. They were marching through the runway wearing pastel colors, hats, and scarfs looking naturally elegant with suitable looks for the brisk weather outside of the studio. The collection created atmosphere of energetic modernism and comfort.
The crowd was equally vibrant. The first row was occupied by Woopi Goldberg and her team. Woopi can often be seen attending the shows of young and edgy designers. After the show her assistant was seen picking for her a pair of “Stevies” from the small vendor table in the hallway.
All attending could try or purchase a pair of designer Swarovski crystals-incrusted, attention-drawing sunglasses. Overall the show followed by the afterparty at Hudson terrace attracted young and edgy designers, bloggers and fashion stylists looking for fresh, wearable and modern look.
