Nat & Nin create a girl’s best friend with their Parisian handbag designs

Two sisters Nathalie and Ninnie came together to create what is now Nat & Nin, a label that makes casual yet elegant handbags and designs accessories.   

From their base in Paris the two sisters began designing together, becoming more and more inspired by the urban landscape around them, leading to a creative mix of colours and leathers which have attracted style-hunters and vintage enthusiasts to seek out their audacious label.

Their aim for the designs is to create bags which are a “girl’s best friend”; with their Spring/Summer 12 collection positively bursting at the seams with gorgeous, sun-drenched oranges and fresh greens in delicious soft leathers, they’ve definitely achieved that. Stunning, expert finishes complete the designs skilfully, making them both practical but stylish.

Coming from a family that owned a leather workshop, Nathalie and Ninnie inherited the know-how and learned the ropes from an early age. Their leather-artisan parents passed on a passion for design, which has led the siblings to explore a wide range of leathers, searching for the most unique and the highest quality to create exquisitely beautiful product.

It is clear from looking at the designs of Nat & Nin that they have expert knowledge of their materials: they seem to use leather in the best possible ways in order to get the most from its potential. Their designs are full of details that don’t look fussy, but which add shape, elegance and a purpose to the design. A washed-out, Parisian-chic feel makes for a truly beautiful label.
