Stand out from the crowd with Junk Jewels
Independent jewellery label Junk Jewels has exactly what you have been looking for to complete any outfit. Zoe Jones created her London-based label in 2007 to sell her vintage-inspired jewels and has since established an online jewellery dreamland.
Zoe started out making her pieces just as a hobby to make a bit of extra money whilst studying for her degree and never thought her little ideas would turn into her very own business. It was having her own stall at Portobello Road market that allowed her imaginings to become reality. In the past five years she has made inroads into the jewellery world and had pieces featured in Look magazine.
Inspired by everyday life, the latest Junk Jewels lookbook became focused around the location it was photographed around: the beautiful British coast. Zoe spends a lot of free time in these places and thought it was only natural to base her ideas around somewhere she loves so much. Feminine and adaptable to any outfit, Junk Jewels really is the perfect accompaniment to your favourite wardrobe picks.
The current online collection showcases a range of pretty vintage and modern pieces on both gold and silver chains. The stunning trinkets come in various different lengths in order perfectly to cater to your individual needs. What makes Junk Jewels even more impressive is the price, as you can find yourself elegant pieces without breaking the bank. My special picks are the “‘Je t’aime’ Diary Necklace” from £8, the “French Coin Bracelet” for £6 and the “Love & Bird Rings” at £10 for a set of three.
Zoe’s stall at Portobello Market is still open every weekend for your buying pleasure and it is here where you will find one-off and exclusive pieces that are not available online. In addition to this, Zoe also runs a personalised jewellery-making service, where you can create your very own Junk Jewels piece, tailoring it to exactly what you want and like. We couldn’t think of a better idea to get that piece you’ve always wanted or for a personal present for someone you love.
