Telfar autumn/winter 2017 collection catwalk show for NYFW

The Telfar collection began with a two-toned collar shirt where the front pockets and sleeves were a dodger blue and the rest, tan. Various shades of blue appeared throughout the collection including cerulean, powder, denim, sky, periwinkle and royal blue. The denim pant suits were combined with subtle fleece jackets underneath or shirts with rectangular patterns.

A cotton sweatshirt had a collar attached where the opening and zipper rested on the left side of the model’s neck. Other sweatshirts were three-toned: periwinkle, navy blue, and black, paired with black denim jeans with tan stitching and original pocket designs.

The colour scheme changed with the presence of a bright, sunflower yellow and tanned sweatshirt, followed by a vibrant yellow bomber and tan cargo pants. The cargo pants also appeared repeatedly on the catwalk and some with a black patch on the front. But the fireman’s jacket, of tan and yellow, with a thin strip of white, was a brilliant switch in the collection.

The black slacks with an army green stripe down the front paired nicely with a pair of army green platform sneakers and the jacket of the like had the colors reversed: army green jacket with tan stripes.

Telfar used artisan coats, bubble coats and Eskimo coats as adornment for some of the thinner shirts and pieces, but the entire collection stayed within the neutral colored themes with a few standouts: yellow and army green.
