Facercise: the natural facelift

Facercise: the natural facelift

For all the creams and lotions in the world, there comes a time where an individual might consider fillers, Botox or even going under the knife. There are many pressures to look good and some feel the need to dial the clinic or surgeon; but when it comes to the face, there are alternatives.

Facercise is the brainchild of Carole Maggio and is based on the notion that, just like the body, the face has muscles; and with specially developed exercise routines, those muscles of the face are strengthened and developed, creating a toned and more youthful appearance. In this way, the thinking goes that you can give yourself a ‘natural facelift’.

The new version of Maggio’s program consists of 13 synergistic exercises that target the 57 muscles of the face and neck. Ultimate Facercise works the muscles with more intensity, utilising body posturing and resistance movements to give clients more dramatic results in a shorter period of time. Carole’s personal mantra has always been, “You can’t help growing older, but you don’t have to look older”.

This is a perfect way to combat signs of ageing, or if you just want to plump up certain areas of the face. As with any routine, it takes discipline. However, the benefits outweigh the negatives. You can start at any age and after one week, you can see more definition and general improvement of the face and neck. And let’s face it: it is a lot cheaper than the alternative.

Ever since Facercise’s conception, it has received many accolades from the beauty press and has been named as “One of the Top 100 Beauty Products in the World” by Harpers Bazaar magazine.

Ultimate Facercise by Carole Maggio is available in paperback from £6.75 at Amazon, Book Depository and Nutri Centre Books. You can also visit Carole’s website here
