A little bit of French fancy
When it comes to neo-vintage jewellery and creating a collection that is truly unique, look no further than La Tonkinoise. Inspired by antiques, bringing things to life, Parisian flea markets, and a song sung by Josephine Baker and Mistinguett, this designer brings us a little bit of what we fancy.
Here at The Upcoming, we truly love her pendants and what has caught our attention is the Small World “Lisbon” one, with its three pearls, a cats-eye semi-precious gem, amethyst and a small vintage watch. The whole design follows a coral, orange and brown colour theme that is perfect for this summer. The pendant is suspended on a beautiful retro bronze chain. If this colour theme is just not for you then look at the pink, blue and violet pendants; all are one of a kind and there is something for everyone, whatever their colour choice or passion.
Liking but not loving the pendants? Why not try out a bracelet? Again, all of these are unique with a rustic retro look. The bronze finishes on La Tonkinoise bracelets really make them ideal to wear with a t-shirt and jeans combination, as well as with a little black dress.
Currently there is only one ring available, but this is a definite treasured possession with tiny flowers carefully painted onto it. It is also adjustable so can fit any size finger. We really hope to see some extra vintage pin-mounted rings soon.
In the meantime, keep looking at the La Tonkinoise website, you may find yourself a lovely bargain! Click here to take a peek.
