Oscars 2018: Red carpet
The Oscars is the awards ceremony where accolades are just as exciting as the red carpet fashion. The 90th Academy Awards really did not disappoint with an array of gorgeous gowns so spectacular we are still in awe a week later! Whilst some went for brights, others opted for sparkles and though there may have been a huge variation in looks, there was certainly no shortage of that magical Hollywood glamour.
The La La Land star looked beautiful on the red carpet. Choosing to wear a jacket and trousers really made her stand out in a sea of floor length gowns. We adore Emma’s ruby coloured, silk jacket and the contrasting fuschia bow? Perfection!
Eiza Gonzalez had heads turning by highlighting her figure perfectly in a striking, bright yellow dress with a cut out back.
Star of Marvel’s Black Panther, Chadwick Boseman wore quite possibly the most magnificent suit we have ever seen to attend the prestigious event. His perfectly tailored trousers and embroidered long line blazer were truly fit for a king.
Jennifer Garner’s cobalt gown was a real highlight. The colour was absolutely stunning and almost lucent under the red carpet lights.
Like an angel, Allison Williams floated in to the awards ceremony in a gorgeous, cream gown with beautiful bead detailing on the bodice.
Rita Moreno gave us all a real fashion treat when she arrived in the very same gown she wore back in 1962! With a slightly altered neckline, Rita proved that just like her, some things never go out of style!
Gal Gadot’s gorgeous flapper style gown gave off some real 20s vibes. Beaded and sparkling it was out shone only by the star’s huge grin!
Betty Gabriel looked a far cry from her character in Get Out, as she stunned in an emerald green gown. Complete with a plunging neckline, dramatic train and intricate beading, this dress was a real show-stopper!
Another gorgeous gown from Jennifer Lawrence, this time in an outstanding metallic fabric. You know what’s not funny? How much we want to break into J-Law’s wardrobe!
The beautiful Gina Rodriguez wore one of our favourite looks of the night. Her gown was very dramatic yet managed to look completely feminine and delicate.
