Norman Walsh launches Lexus-inspired trainers just in time for Christmas
Premium footwear manufacturer, Norman Walsh, has unveiled an exciting collaboration with Lexus, which sees high-quality craftsmanship and lavish aesthetics unite in footwear.
The new unisex trainers are based on the Lexus CF F Sport luxury hatchback – an impressive self-charging hybrid model. Drawing inspiration from the design, colour palette and interior of the car, the result combines cutting edge style, comfort and unbeatable quality.
Key components are effortlessly translated into the footwear line: bright red leather and sumptuous black suede, complemented by white PVC soles. This striking visual is guaranteed to stand out from the crowd; meanwhile, the durability of the materials will ensure these shoes stand the test of time.
Rather than incorporating typical garment leather, Walsh chose skin from a tannery in Italy to recreate the feel of the car’s upholstery. It is perforated – just like the seats – with corresponding stitching completing the look.
To replicate the supple yet supportive feeling of sinking into an F Sport seat, these trainers are foam-backed, in turn providing an extra element of comfort during all day wear. A welcome touch of tradition is also added in the form of Walsh’s signature Union Jack motif.
As with every design founded within Norman Walsh’s Bolton factory walls, each shoe is hand-crafted by an experienced seamstress – so you can relish in the thought of knowing these trainers possess a high level of exclusivity.
