If you want to ensure speedy delivery for your parcels in the new year, it’s worth having another look at Amazon Prime. As well as having access to their media content, being a member guarantees next day delivery on a huge range of selected items. Though it costs £7.99 a month, you can cancel any time and a free 30-day trial is available to new customers. It’s also worth checking out William Hill sign up offers and keeping your eyes open for time-sensitive deals on Microsoft Office and the Adobe Creative Suite, which can end up getting you more for your money.

Music

Spotify often has special deals for first-time users such as their current offer of 3 months of Premium for £0.99. Once you become a paid member, you can listen to music ad-free and download your favourite tracks to listen to your playlists wherever you go. The standard price is only £9.99 a month, and considering their incredible library, it’s probably worth the investment. Apple Music is the obvious alternative for those loyal to the brand, offering intuitive recommendations for the same price. Both apps also offer cheaper versions for students and families.

Film and TV

Netflix and Amazon Prime Video both have an impressive range of movies and TV on offer from all over the world, including their own exclusive big-budget productions. Though not all their output is of the same standard, there is enough high-quality content to keep you binge-watching all year round. While Netflix offers popular home-grown titles such as Stranger Things, Orange is the New Black and Glow for a range of monthly prices (dependent on streaming quality), Amazon is fast catching up with its own array of high-end originals such as Man in the High Castle and Mozart in the Jungle.  Or, if you prefer to watch films on the big-screen, start up a cinema subscription for either Cineworld Unlimited or Odeon Limitless. The prices vary depending on whether you wish to include London venues, but you can go to as many viewings as you like, and even if you only go to see two films in a month you will already be saving yourself money.
