Visit the online Custom Made Shop for a little bit of sunshine

Can you ever imagine a brooch with an actual human facial expression that is somewhat believable? We are all aware of these smiley face rings and the obvious jewellery you can find at every stall in most towns or sold on small stalls in seaside resorts but the Custom Made Shop blow these out of the window. The jewellery appears like it is smiling, even with cute dimples, it is unreal, and all achieved by a few simple strokes of the pencil.  We definitely want one of these on our sleeves to brighten our day in this ‘summer’ rain. Here is one of our favourites:

Made from responsibly sourced birch, the cute cheeks are hand painted on with a lick of varnish to seal it. It measures just under 6cm so it compliments any outfit.

Specialising in brooches, necklaces and purses there is something for everybody with each item lovingly handmade. Some are even vintage and recycled items for an ethical work environment.

We particularly like this ‘get crafty’ necklace, however we’re not too sure a person would get through security at the airport wearing it, an overly keen guard might face plant you to the floor, as we have witnessed already by some poor person wearing a necklace that resembled a torture choker.

Prices range from a wonderfully cheap £3 to £30, with categories to choose from depending on how much you want to spend. Ideal for gifts to friends and relatives, and the most popular include the Vintage Owly Brooch and the Chase Me bracelet.
