There is nothing denying the fact that there are nights that are all about breaking the rules and pampering yourself non-stop. Not dressing up right for outings on holiday can be a bit of a spirit-dampener and bring you down.

Whether your purpose is attending a friend’s bachelorette, a weekend getaway or just a solo trip, you can do a lot during your stay here. Daytime should be all about bold and vibrant hues

It’s inevitable that some of your nights will be dedicated to club hopping and partying. However, there is plenty to explore and do during the daytime too, wherever you decide to go. Unless your choice of an exciting holiday is staying within the confines of your hotel room, you should don some bold and vibrant colours, and just step out. Check for dress codes

While under-dressing or over-dressing are always less of a problem in our day and age – you could be in your pyjamas, flip-flops and even yoga pants and no one will bat an eyelid – there are places with strict dress codes so do your homework and check in advance.

Don’t hold back with the accessories

When on holiday, you should never shy away from accessorising as much and as boldly as you can. Whether it’s about solid finger rings, a rhinestone clutch, new age body jewellery or statement-making neckpieces, try out everything. In daytime, you should put on those reflectors and/or fedora hats too, to up your fashion quotient.

Go for a kill with that velvet dress, LBD or an asymmetrical dress

As holiday destinations are usually pretty hot, you should pack more than one dress per day. It’s a given that you’d be wearing nice party dresses whenever you’d be heading to a bar or a club. A velvet dress will do the trick at nightclubs as it will perfectly match the place’s grandeur. You could even make a statement with that chic asymmetrical dress, and combine it effectively with pumps. If nothing else, you should opt for that classic bodycon LBD every woman carries around in her duffel bag, provided you feel comfortable in it.
