Roger Federer reaches historic 17th Grand Slam title and seventh Wimbledon trophy

He is the master of tennis and the king of grass. The Basel maestro claims back the first position on the ATP ranking and wins a record seventh Wimbledon title.

The match saw British number one Andy Murray win the first set 4-6 with a very aggressive play.

However the Swiss superstar raised the level of his tennis to finish the second set 7-5.

It was in the the third set, interrupted by the rain, that Roger Federer imposed his game of forehand winners and first-serve points.

The final set was more balanced and ended 6-4 for the Swiss legend.

Both players were looking to make history with the final victory, Federer did it proving once again to be the best tennis player ever.
