JPL Atelier launches charity T-shirts to mark Women’s Equality Day
JPL Atelier has launched a collection of five T-shirts in partnership with five charities – PETA UK, UN Women UK, Post Carbon Lab, Friends of the Earth and Fawcett Society – to mark Women’s Equality Day.
The London-based brand’s latest Alliance Collection is designed to embody the empowerment of women through design, while honouring a sustainable process.
Crafted from white organic cotton, each unisex T-shirt is embroidered with one of the following motivational words: activist, feminist, independent, leader and powerful.
JPL Atelier’s main focus is transparent sustainability and the production of the highest quality garments that utilise natural organic fabrics and luxury recycled materials. Additionally, the label’s collections are all expertly handcrafted in a female-led factory in London, which they have been working with since 2017.
“I founded JPL Atelier on the basis of being an empowering ally to both women and our forever muse, Mother Earth. We are now in an exciting stage of our brand development, where we are able to grow our philanthropy alongside progressive charities that mirror the brand’s DNA. The Alliance Collection is the beginning of our bi-annual charity capsule collections and a new start to long-term partnerships with our charities,” explains JPL Atelier’s founder, Juliana Ponce de Léon.
Each T-shirt is available to buy online for £85, with 30% of the proceeds donated to charity.
