Sarah Roberts series
Sarah Roberts is a beloved character all around the world. Readers love her strength and often Sarah gives them courage to deal with issues in their own lives. The author receives letters from readers who have faced difficult situations and they’ve used Sarah as an example to stay strong and to resist any type of bad behaviour. The first book, Dark Visions, finds 18-year-old Sarah suffering from blackouts. When she wakes from these states of unconsciousness, she examines notes she’s written of bad things that haven’t happened yet, prophecies of terrible things to come. As an automatic writer foretelling the future, she is the only person who can stop these things from happening as no one believes her. Later on, she discovers where the messages are coming from and learns what happened to her dead sister. Then her life turns to a rollercoaster of adventure like playing in a casino, with the rush of watching the ball without knowing where it lands.
25 books later Sarah has taken down huge organisations, released hostages, prevented terrorist attacks and helped whoever needed help in her path. During all these years of tirelessly chasing the bad guys, certain people stood by her and became her “team,” her new family. Alex, a martial arts specialist, along with Benjamin, and Daniel. Also, Parkman, a former police officer and her boyfriend, Aaron, have helped her on many missions, spanning Europe, the United States and Canada. One reader said: “Sarah Roberts is one in a million. If you’re her friend, she’ll crawl through Hell to protect you. If you’re her enemy, she’ll send you there.”
The Ultimatum
The Ultimatum, Sarah Roberts book 25, will be released on 29th October. Sarah finds herself in a difficult situation. At this point in her life she is raising her daughter and is living in relative peace. A powerful crime boss wants Sarah to help him find his missing daughter after he tried to locate her by himself, using his own resources, but failed. The crime boss asks Sarah to help, by offering her an ultimatum. Find his daughter within one week or suffer what he’s going through emotionally by the loss of Sarah’s daughter. He even demonstrates his power by having Sarah’s daughter taken from her temporarily.
Sarah doesn’t deal well with someone threatening her child and plans a retaliation like nothing she has ever done before, but the plan goes awry and people close to her get hurt, which makes her rethink her strategy. Then the FBI step in with an ultimatum of their own. Sarah must wear a wire to entrap the crime boss or face prosecution herself for her recent misdeeds. Burdened with two ultimatums, Sarah makes the only choice she knows – to go it alone and do it her way – which proves to be a fatal mistake.
What lengths will a mother go to protect her child? What choice can she make when faced with impossible decisions? What losses will she have to face in The Ultimatum?
