On Sunday 27th March, Galvin Bar and Grill will be welcoming cherished mums into their opulent dining room at the Kimpton Fitzroy London with a glass of complimentary Hattingley Valley Brut Rosé. This will be followed by a three-course meal with options including Colchester Rock Oysters to start, as well as mains such as a traditional Sunday roast with all the trimmings or grilled lobster; there’s a White Chocolate Crème Brûlée to finish.

Head chef Michael Carr’s five-course tasting menu features exquisitely flavoured and playfully presented dishes, including Roast Spiced Norfolk Quail with Squash and Nasturtium Drizzled with a Teriyaki Glaze and Seasonal Tomatoes and Smoked Ricotta with Linseed and Hot Mustard Dressing. For mains, there’s an indulgent Aynehoe Park Venison with Quince, Black Pudding, Crapaudine Beetroot and Peppercorn Sauce, as well as Aged Sirloin with Stuffed Yorkshire Pudding with all the trimmings. With their carefully prepared three-course meal, mothers can indulge in delicious feasts including Langoustine Soup and Matjes Herring with Soft-Boiled Egg and Brown Butter Vinaigrette for starters. There’s Roasted Cod served in a silky saffron butter sauce, with mussels and samphire, or Duck Rydberg with caramelised onion purée and egg for mains.
