Six chefs, including Bjorn Frantzen, Jason Atherton and Tom Kerridge, unite for a special charity dinner at Harrods
For almost 175 years, Harrods has brought the finest luxury products to the world. This autumn it hosts some of the most visionary culinary talents at the London store for a seriously opulent dining experience.
On 22nd September, for the very first time the iconic department store will bring together six of the world’s most decorated and respected chefs to develop and personally prepare a once-in-a-lifetime banquet for guests at the Harrods Table. The six experts – Bjorn Frantzen, Jason Atherton, Tom Kerridge, Dave Pynt, Angelo Musa and Phil Khoury – will celebrate the vibrant culinary scene of London for the global stage at a world-leading dining destination.
All six chefs are partners of established or upcoming eateries at Harrods, which currently hosts more Michelin-starred restaurants under one roof than any other location in London. The proceeds for the meal they create will be going to Felix Refettorio at St Cuthbert’s, which, as part of Massimo Bottura’s Food for Soul network, is dedicated to relieving poverty and supporting vulnerable Londoners through the power of a shared meal.
In a specially designed space inside Harrods, 25 guests will enjoy six courses personally prepared and served by the chefs, paired with acclaimed vintages from the Harrods cellars. Each a pioneer in their own specialist form of cuisine, the six will prepare the following in the Harrods kitchens:

Director of restaurants at Harrods Ashley Saxton, who has launched each chef’s restaurant proposition in the store, is spearheading the event:
“Gathering these six visionaries – who are at the absolute top of the culinary world – together for one night was no easy feat. However, they were happy to come and celebrate their style of cooking and to prepare a meal together in London’s most iconic setting, and in aid of a fantastic cause. I am excited not only to see the once-in-a-lifetime banquet that they prepare, but also to raise as much as we can for charity. To see these chefs together in one place, to see how they inspire and challenge each other to create the world’s most exclusive meal will be a dream come true for the lucky gourmands who join us on the night.”
Following its next stage of restaurant expansion, Harrods will be the only location in London where guests can access a cumulative 12 Michelin stars under one roof, with options from fine dining to international cuisine, to traditional British classics.
The Harrods Table is taking place as part of the wider Harrods Restaurants Festival, a celebration of dining experiences and in-house talent throughout the week. Guests will be offered added value when dining in selected restaurants at the store, with a complimentary half bottle of wine per guest during dinner sittings after 5pm, an exclusive offer in the newly launched Moet and Chandon Champagne Bar, along with cocktail masterclasses in the Baccarat bar. Harrods will also be celebrating their in-house talent, with content covering the masters of their craft and individuals recognised within the industry, including offerings from the bakery and pastry departments, free-from pastry, the barista, the sommelier, bars and beverages and chocolate, alongside the executive chefs who run the restaurants, celebrating the breadth of talent and the excellence Harrods holds.
