World’s best bar Paradiso takes over The Donovan Bar: A unique all-Italian mixology experience
A unique fusion of mixology magic is set to unfold at The Donovan Bar, Mayfair, on Wednesday 24th May. The renowned bar, nestled within Brown’s Hotel, is hosting a one-off evening with Paradiso, the cocktail hotspot from Barcelona that snatched the title of The World’s Best Bar at The World’s 50 Best Bars 2022.
For this one-night-only takeover, Giacomo Giannotti of Paradiso will join forces with revered mixologist patron Salvatore Calabrese, better known as The Maestro, to offer an evening of sublime cocktails. The event will unite two distinctive bar cultures under one roof, marrying the Donovan’s classic Mayfair ambience with Paradiso’s imaginative, contemporary flair.
Drawing on their distinctive yet complementary mixology styles, Giannotti and Calabrese, alongside director of mixology Federico Pavan, will concoct a one-of-a-kind menu for the evening. The collaboration with Mancino, Bereksten and Amaro Lucano will lend an extra layer of complexity and craft to the evening’s libations.
This blend of old-world sophistication and modern mixology promises a unique sensory journey, accentuated by the dynamic interaction between the Donovan’s traditional charm and Paradiso’s avant-garde approach. The event, no doubt, will be a testament to the limitless possibilities of the cocktail craft, a celebration of the shared passion and individuality that each bar brings to the table.
This highly anticipated event is scheduled from 7pm to 11pm at The Donovan Bar, providing an unmissable opportunity for cocktail aficionados and discerning drinkers to experience the best of two worlds, sipped and savoured in the heart of Mayfair. Amidst the backdrop of world-class mixology and the iconic locale, this one-night takeover is set to become an unforgettable entry in London’s cocktail calendar.
