The World’s 50 Best Restaurants awards will be held in Las Vegas next June

The annual gastronomic awards World’s 50 Best Restaurants have revealed Las Vegas as the host city for next year’s ceremony on 5th June. This will mark the awards’ return to American soil following the New York edition in 2016.

Known for crowning the globe’s finest restaurant, the event is slated to be hosted at the Wynn Las Vegas, a resort renowned for its dedication to gastronomy. The glamorous backdrop of the Sin City sets the tone for what promises to be a sparkling celebration.

Aside from the ceremony, the 50 Best programme includes a range of activities, from the #50BestTalks, where chefs and restaurateurs discuss the issues affecting the global hospitality industry, to the 50 Best Signature Sessions, a series of collaboration dinners between local restaurants and those featured on the list. The Chefs’ Feast will showcase the cuisine and rousing entertainment Las Vegas is famed for and, finally, an educational event will invite local culinary students to meet and learn from the world’s best chefs, enriching their knowledge and experience.

The most recent edition of the awards, held in Valencia, saw Virgilio Martinez’s restaurant, Central, rise to the pinnacle as it was crowned the world’s best.
