Julie’s restaurant in Holland Park reopens reservation line ahead of its May launch
Julie’s has announced the opening of its reservation line today, ahead of its much-anticipated relaunch on Wednesday, 8th of May 2024. This marks a new chapter for the establishment of Holland Park, as it inaugurates its new vibrant design. The restaurant is best known for its reimagining pf French brasserie classics, infused with a contemporary twist, accompanied by a selection of carefully curated cocktails, including a glamorous martini trolley for tableside refreshments.
Under the expert guidance of Chef Patron Owen Kenworthy, formerly of Brawn and The Pelican, Julie’s aims to strike the perfect balance between simplicity and decadence. The menu showcases the best of modern French cooking, leveraging seasonal ingredients to create mouth-watering dishes. Among the highlights are two hero dishes: the Carabinero Carpaccio, a starter prepared with thinly sliced red prawns and a dressing of olive oil and lemon; and the show-stopper, luxurious Lobster Soufflé with Buttered Leeks and Gruyère, which diners can enjoy as a shared starter or a main course.
The cocktail list, crafted with precision and creativity, include highlights such as Beurre Noisette Cider Royal, a twist on the classic Kir Royal with a nutty flavour courtesy of browned butter, and the Cassis Pepper Sazerac, an aromatic concoction made with Cassis Pepper infused Cognac. The wine list promises an impressive selection, ranging from classic French vintages to more particular labels, ensuring there’s something to suit every palate.
Situated in the heart of Holland Park, Julie’s has long been a jewel in London’s dining scene. With its reopening, the restaurant looks set to continue its legacy, offering an all-day menu that marries the elegance of French cuisine with innovative culinary techniques and presentation.
