Rivea Las Vegas to host exclusive four-hands dinner with Jean-Philippe Blondet of Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester
Restaurant Rivea within the Delano Hotel in Las Vegas will host an exclusive dinner on Tuesday 4th June in celebration of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants award ceremony. This one-off event will feature a four-course meal curated by Jean-Philippe Blondet, the chef patron of three-Michelin-starred Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester, in collaboration with Rivea’s executive chef Winnie Wong. The event promises an innovative gastronomic experience combining the distinctive styles of both chefs.
The dinner will take place at Rivea, which offers breathtaking views of the Las Vegas skyline. Blondet and Wong aim to showcase their culinary finesse through a series of masterfully crafted dishes, utilising high-quality ingredients and inventive cooking techniques. The menu is expected to be a mix of French contemporary haute cuisine and fresh, surprising flavours, reflecting the chefs’ respective backgrounds in London and Vegas.
Guests attending the event can anticipate a start to their evening with a selection of canapes from both chefs, including barbajuans by Blondet and grilled octopus with coco beans, confit peppers and parsley-scallion pesto by Wong. The six-course menu will highlight dishes such as hand-dived sea scallops with Kristal Caviar; Australian black truffle risotto; and seared fillet of turbot with artichoke and shiso, culminating in a dessert featuring organic California lemon and olive oil snow. This blend of French and Italian influences underscores the creativity and skill of the chefs involved.
The dinner will commence with reception drinks from 7pm to 8pm at Skyfall, with the menu priced at $295 plus taxes, excluding wine pairings.
