Laura grew up in rural Somerset, milked a number of cows then moved to London to study English and drama. On finishing, contrary to what everyone kept saying, she got a job (well, an internship, but still. In London, living the dream.)
When she’s not making tea for “the man” she loves reviewing culture, theatre and film around London. One day she’d like to be able to call herself a real-life Paid Journalist and Author, but for now she’s happy with Wannabe Student Intern Reviewer. Her literary pin-ups are Charlie Brooker and Ned Beauman, with whom she will one day have love-children (several each, 14 in total.)
